00:00 Well, that’s the thing. I mean, think of the bottled water industry, would you believe $195 billion is spent annually worldwide on bottled water? Just in America alone, 3 billion cases a year are purchased in America. And that’s $15 billion worth of bottled water sales.
00:21 Now, why do people buy bottled water? It’s all about the taste. Now, they know the benefits of hydration because you’re just thirsty and got to have water. But they won’t drink their tap water because they don’t like the taste of tap water. Otherwise, why are we spending all this money on bottled water?
00:39 And that’s very interesting because some of these bigger companies, soda companies-
00:43 Oh yeah.
00:44 … are really just using the water they’re making the soda with. It’s not anything fancy. But is that a purified water?
00:51 Yeah. Bottled water is nothing more than tap water that’s been purified. And I’ve actually tested some bottled water, because if they use reverse osmosis as part of the component for their disinfection, that water doesn’t give you the necessary benefits of, whether it’s the alkalinity, the calciums or the magnesiums, because it’s removed through the RO process.
01:15 So I still believe … And with bottled water, how long has that water been on a truck in the plastic as it’s being delivered to Walmart, and then by the time it gets to Walmart, into your hands, where’s that water been? It’s been sealed.
01:29 And that’s an interesting point. How long is that water … I mean, it’s not going to be bad a year from now, but is there a shelf life?
01:38 Well, the plastic [inaudible 00:01:40] leach in heat is terrible. People will leave their bottled water in their car and then drink it on another day, and then it gets subject to heat and things like that. And they’re paying for it.
01:52 I’m a big boater, and I love the fact, in my home I could fill up all the water bottles I need to do, load them up on the boat, or the amount of traveling that I do, I have my own water bottles because I fill it up at home. And I never have to deal with purchasing water because I carry my own water with me, because my water even tastes better than what I would get from a bottled water.
02:15 Is there any chemical or any sort of byproduct that people really should look out for, where, regardless of what they’re really being told, your system is going to solve this?
02:30 Yeah, I would say the chemical that I’m not real fond of is chlorine. And chlorine is a poison. It’s a nasty chemical. It’s like drinking bleach. But the way it’s regulated, it’s not harmful, and it does disinfect the water. And it has to be disinfected. So, again, I don’t slam the municipalities for what they have to do to give you this water, but the disinfection byproducts that are added in addition to the chlorine, like the ammonia, things like that, those produce the inorganic compounds that are harmful to you.
03:09 And it’s been shown through studies that trihalomethane is a cancer-producing carcinogen. And municipalities throughout this country have trihalomethanes in it. And it’s a byproduct of the additives added to the water. And you can’t see it, you can’t taste it. It could be there. And I don’t believe your body should have to deal with it. My system would remove all the chlorine, all the disinfection byproducts from the water.
