0% APR financing with Affirm from $104/mo

The details behind your system.

Good filtration starts with a clear match between your water and the equipment. Use these documents and questions to understand that match before you buy.

Start with the exact model.

A warranty describes coverage. It is not a contaminant-reduction certification or a guarantee of media life.

Ask what was tested.

A product name, a media ingredient or a total contaminant count does not tell you everything about performance.

Request model-specific test information

Bring these questions to your consultation.

  • Which exact model and configuration does the report cover?
  • Which contaminant was measured, and at what incoming and outgoing concentrations?
  • What flow rate, water conditions and total capacity were used?
  • Who performed the test, when, and under which method or standard?
  • What pretreatment and replacement schedule are needed?

Understand the kind of evidence.

An independent test reports results under specified conditions. A certification applies to the listed product and claims. Certification of a component or media does not, by itself, establish certified reduction performance for the assembled system.

Check the exact model and claim in the certifier’s listing. Do not treat a general standards logo as proof that a filter reduces every contaminant.

NSF’s guide to water-treatment standards

Your water report is a different document.

A test of your household water identifies what is in your sample. It helps select treatment; it does not certify a filter. Share your results with us so we can discuss the appropriate configuration.
