Installation & Maintenance

Setting up your AquaOx is straightforward, but we strongly recommend always hiring a licensed professional plumber to ensure proper connections. The system is installed after your main water shutoff and pressure regulator, then the backwash drain is connected, and the unit is plugged into a 110V outlet. Once filled, the AquaOx automatically flushes out trapped air and media fines during its initial backwash cycle. You MUST manually backwash the unit after install. From there, the system backwashes every few days—no manual intervention required.

For well water, a pre-sediment filter is included to capture large particles before entering the main filter. Simply clean this sediment filter periodically based on water quality. City water customers can just relax and enjoy thorough, worry-free filtration.
