Its lightweight, ultra-porous mineral granules trap particles down to 3–5 microns, far finer than the 12–30 microns a standard sand filter catches.

How it works

As water flows through the media bed, suspended particles get caught in the porous mineral granules through a mix of mechanical and electrostatic filtration. The result is noticeably cleaner, clearer water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
