Turbidex

Clearer water, less sediment

Turbidex™ is a high-performance sediment media that pulls the fine silt, dirt, and cloudiness — what the pros call turbidity — out of your water, so every tap in the house runs clear. Its lightweight, ultra-porous mineral granules trap particles down to 3–5 microns, far finer than the 12–30 microns a standard sand filter catches.

Protects the rest of your system

Fine grit wears on everything it touches — your other filter stages, fixtures, appliances, and any reverse-osmosis system under your sink. By catching those particles first, Turbidex™ keeps the rest of your water system running clean and helps your RO membrane go longer between changes.

Long-lasting, low-maintenance

Turbidex™ media is built to last, so it needs replacing far less often than ordinary sediment media. It backwashes clean, which means steady flow throughout your home and less upkeep for you.

How it works

As water flows through the media bed, suspended particles get caught in the porous mineral granules through a mix of mechanical and electrostatic filtration. The result is noticeably cleaner, clearer water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
